With over thirty years of teaching and tutoring experience spanning elementary through college levels, I bring a seasoned, adaptable approach to supporting students in history, study skills, test preparation, and mathematics.

Currently, I provide one-on-one academic support to high school students, focusing on targeted instruction, organization, and executive functioning strategies that build both content mastery and confidence.

My career has included extensive middle school and 8th-grade classroom teaching across all core subjects, as well as college-level instruction and academic coaching. This breadth allows me to tailor lessons to a wide range of developmental stages and learning needs. Whether guiding a high schooler through AP U.S. History essays, strengthening foundational math skills for standardized tests, or coaching a college student in research and time management, I adapt my methods to meet each learner where they are.

I have taught in public, private, and alternative settings, as well as in individualized tutoring environments. My expertise includes differentiation, curriculum design, and working with students who have IEPs, 504 plans, and executive functioning challenges. I use data-informed, research-based instructional practices, blending academic rigor with supportive, personalized feedback to ensure measurable growth.

Executive Functioning skills and test prep are a central part of my work. I coach students in note-taking, active reading, time management, and test-taking strategies, empowering them to approach assessments with clarity and confidence. My approach is rooted in the belief that strong learning habits are as essential as content knowledge.

I am deeply committed to helping each student unlock their potential, develop lifelong academic skills, and achieve their goals—whether that’s raising grades, improving standardized test scores, or building the discipline and confidence to succeed in future academic challenges.
