I have taught inmates in the Connecticut prison system for one year to help get them ready to take their GED exam; the subjects were: reading comprehension, English, Social Studies, math and critical thinking.
I have taught Sunday school to both children and adults for over twenty years
I have been a camp councilor in a Christian summer camp for one week out of each summer for thirteen years, having between five and nine-ten year olds in my charge.
I also write children's literature.
