Hi, my name is Reena! I have a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering and a Master's in Business Management. While I was in high school, I had the opportunity to tutor younger grade students. In college, I was a teacher's assistant for several of my courses. I found that it was not only knowing the material, but the interaction you have with the students that makes the difference in them understanding the material. I enjoyed being able to breakdown the material to make it more interactive and engaging. My lesson plans are geared towards the students as each learns differently. Once I understand what they expect to gain from this lesson, I am able to breakdown the material so they get the lesson in the way that best fits them. I ensure the students have time to practice the material but then I also ask questions so I know they understand the material.

I have volunteer tutoring experience in Math and English to grade 6 students. I also taught elementary math remotely for over a year using zoom. I also have worked with adults, teaching them project management and different software such as SmarTeam and SharePoint. I have taught knitting at a community center for about a year to young adults to older adults. But, I also had the opportunity to host some knitting courses in elementary school to teach kids ages 8-10. In all I have both in-person and remote experience teaching students in various subjects from age range of 8 plus.
