I am an adjunct professor at University of Connecticut with extensive experience teaching and tutoring mathematics, statistics, and computer science at both the high school and university levels. I specialize in subjects including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Probability, Statistics, AP Statistics, SAT/ACT Math, R, Data Science, and introductory Computer Science courses. With multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Statistics, and years of teaching experience, I focus on helping students truly understand difficult concepts, build confidence, and improve academic performance through personalized instruction tailored to each student’s learning style.

Throughout graduate school and my teaching career, I received multiple teaching awards and consistently earned strong student evaluations because I genuinely care about helping students succeed. Teaching is not just something I do, it’s something I truly enjoy. One of my biggest strengths is adapting to different learning styles. Every student learns differently, and I work hard to explain concepts in ways that make sense for the individual student.

As a former student-athlete who began college playing basketball, I also understand the challenges students face balancing academics with athletics, extracurricular activities, work, and personal responsibilities. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students can improve without feeling overwhelmed.

My academic background: Associate’s degree in math and science, Bachelor’s degrees in math and computer science, Master’s degrees in math and statistics and a PhD in statistics.
