I enjoy learning--learning new things while helping others learn new things. And providing support systems which can aid in students building stronger foundations in learning to aid in furthering development. Demonstrating differentiated approaches allows individual students to find what styles of learning or approaches work best for them.
I have taken and passed the Foundations of Reading state test. I have worked with all age groups but spent the majority of my years as a Behavioral Manager/classroom co-teacher in 5th/6th grade classrooms. I am five credits shy of my master's degree in special education.
I look forward to working with all types of students to try & make learning fundamentals a little more fun, while providing elements of confidence within the subject areas in which students need more support.
