Hi, my name is Samuel, and I am a student at Cornell University’s Dyson School of Applied Economics & Management. I specialize in SAT Math, SAT Reading, academic tutoring, and business-focused college counseling for students applying to competitive undergraduate programs.
I graduated from Kent School with a 3.9 GPA, a 1520 SAT score, and experience in a rigorous AP and honors-level curriculum. I was also recognized by the College Board Rural & Small Town Recognition Program and worked as a College Board qualified SAT tutor, helping students prepare for the SAT through both one-on-one and group instruction.
My tutoring style is clear, patient, and strategy-based. For SAT Math, I help students break down problems step by step, recognize patterns, and avoid common mistakes. For SAT Reading, I teach students how to read passages efficiently, find evidence in the text, eliminate wrong answers, and manage time under pressure.
In addition to test prep, I help students with business college counseling, including school selection, application strategy, activity positioning, resume development, and essay brainstorming. As a Cornell Dyson student with experience in entrepreneurship, investing, and leadership, I can help students present themselves strongly for business, economics, and management-focused programs.
Whether you want to improve your SAT score, strengthen your academic skills, or build a stronger college application, I will help you create a clear plan and gain confidence.
