Great teacher and worth every penny
Andrea has been working with my college age son on executive function relating to learning struggles cause by ADHD. For a young man to be looking forward to his virtual session says it all. Andrea is very easy to talk to, she is extremely positive and supportive and she has amazing ideas and directives. She has provided him with an assortment of ideas and strategies to be successful.

Patient and Helpful
Andrea is very helpful and gave me the confidence to cook new things in my Instant Pot! Now I’m able to make lots of things using some of the ground rules and recipes we began with.

ADHD organizational skills
Andrea has been very helpful with my son’s ADHD struggles. She helped him clearly define and prioritize goals. She was able to help organize him by developing strategies, such as creating reminder systems through Google calendar. This enabled him to self monitor and improve on his follow up skills. Most importantly he looked forward to his sessions and was motivated to improve. Andrea was always so positive and encouraging, but at the same time made my son accountable for his progress. Her feedback and directions were always very detailed, which gave me confidence that she knew what she was doing. I highly recommend Andrea to anyone who would benefit from getting help with improving their executive functioning skills.
JENNIFER, 5 lessons with AndreaTutor responded:Hi Jen, thanks so much for your feedback and kind words. Self-monitoring and follow-up are so important, and we hit our sweet spot right out of the gate! It is nice to work with motivated students like your son.
Great information and tools!
I am a parent who was searching g for an organizational tutor for my daughter. Andrea and I had a one on one to start so I could express concerns. She really wanted to know about my daughter so she could start in the most productive manor, and explained her process. Now, after about 15 lessons, my daughter (jr in high school with anxiety and ADHD) is doing so much better using skills she has learned she enjoys talking to Andrea and is someone she trusts. Her productivity is up, as are organizational skills and self awareness. We feel so lucky to have found her!
Susan, 64 lessons with AndreaTutor responded:Susan, thank you so much for your words. I very much enjoy working with your daughter and seeing how much progress she has made!
Wonderful tutor that can work with any age level
I am currently a college Junior, and I started working with Andrea last year. She was able to assess my situation as time went by and I evolved and provided me with both the skills and tools in order to maximize my success. Additionally, she was able to assist me with week-to-week organization and planning. I will definitely be able to carry many of these skills down the road and utilize them later in my education and work experience. I look forward to working with her into the future.
Inga, 41 lessons with AndreaTutor responded:I look forward to our sessions, as well. It is great to see how you are spearheading group projects and keeping organized. You have made great progress and your success in the classroom is well-earned!
So patient and skilled!
Andrea has been amazing help for my 15 year old daughter who is challenged by ADHD. They meet multiple times per week and Andrea has helped her learn tools to enhance her executive function skills, like organization and the use of "brain breaks." My daughter LOVES working with her and I am seeing the benefits!

Patient, knowledgeable and great teacher
I wasn't sure what it would be like taking a sewing class over zoom, but she made it work. She basically gave me a beginning sewing class to help me get to know my new sewing machine, and get comfortable sewing on it. I had a traumatic introduction to sewing decades ago with a sewing class in junior high, and Andrea and this lesson increased my confidence. I am so pleased with what she taught me and am planning to take at least a few more lessons. I HIGHLY recommend h.er
Jodi, 27 lessons with AndreaTutor responded:Thanks, Jodi! I am so glad we've been able to work together to build up your sewing skills. More projects (and fabric) await! :-D
