I am in my junior year at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. I was born in New Haven, CT but raised in Hamden, CT. I am in my junior year at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. I was born in New Haven, CT but raised in Hamden, CT. I attended Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School for elementary and middle school, and Hamden High School for my four years of high school. I am 20 years old, and I can easily relate to any struggles or complications students are having. I have a passion for teaching, and I am always willing to show that passion for anybody willing to learn. I am also in school preparing to be an educator, and I have taught in elementary and junior high schools in the Baltimore area so I do have experience. My strengths are mathematics and English, but I can also be a significant help in many other subjects such as science, history, and more.
In all the years that I have been in school, I have never failed a math class, it has always been one of my strengths. I have been helping my peers and students with math since high school. I also take classes in college that teaches me how to teach math.
English has also been one of my strengths since high school and I have been helping students since then. I also have the experience being a junior in college, so I know what teachers are looking for.
That is my major in college, and I have already been put in schools where I had to practice what I learned so I have the experience.
My interest in American history goes beyond what I've learned in school. I like to make connections with what I learned in the classroom, what I know, and cool facts I find through reading on my free time.
