I do not have experience tutoring but I have a great deal of experience as a leader on campus and in my professional career. I have been a mentor to Pakistani and Iraqi students who come o America to study about United States Institutions. Perhaps one of the most rewarding things I have experienced I my life is the ability to watch people grow as they familiarize themselves with something new.
Although I don't have tutoring experience, I have gone through university which require me to hone my writing expertise in a wide array of subjects. I have numerous experience with essay writing, reading, note taking and time management skills. I have also been a mentor to international students for two summers so I have experience with facilitating growth in my peers. I would say that one of my strengths is writing. For example, I was chosen by my department to speak at my graduation on behalf of the political science department.
Political science is something that I genuinely love and I have many valid skills that I can help you learn to cope with large amounts of reading that will help you synthesize the information in order to learn more. Political science can be fun and I surely have a lot to offer as a tutor!
I am moving to England this fall to further my education at graduate school and would love to fill my time prior to that helping others. I am free at any time to schedule lessons and I greatly look forward to helping!
