Hi! My name is Madison, and I am a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University. I am currently continuing my professional growth by pursuing my Master’s degree in Special Education. My background has given me strong experience supporting diverse learners and adapting instruction to meet individual academic and behavioral needs.

I specialize in tutoring Math, Reading, and Writing, with a strong focus on building foundational skills, improving confidence, and making learning accessible for all students. I have experience working with students who benefit from individualized instruction, including those with learning differences and special education needs.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and student-centered. I believe every learner can succeed when material is broken down into manageable steps and taught in a way that matches their learning style. I use a combination of direct instruction, guided practice, and real-world examples to help students fully understand concepts rather than simply memorize them. I also prioritize creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

I offer a free initial consultation to discuss student goals, learning needs, and how I can best support academic growth. I also ask that any cancellations be communicated at least 24 hours in advance so that I can accommodate my schedule and other students fairly. A reminder of this policy is always provided prior to the start of tutoring sessions.
