I graduated in the year of 2015 from The Cornerstone Christian School as a Honor Student. In my senior year I was a Teacher's Assistant in an Algebra II class, where I helped them understand the lesson better and from a different point of view. I also gave extra help on Math homework for a range of different math classes. I have learned a lot of different techniques over the years. One of the most important ideas that I have found is that everyone learns in a different way. This can be hard on a teacher to teach towards everybody's strength, but a tutor can teach in a way that may make more sense to them.
I truly have a love for math. It is a wonderful thing when one's mind finally comprehend a math problem. No matter how tough the question is, figuring it out brings excitement to me and I hope I will be able to share this enthusiasm.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
