Hi, I’m Pranav! I am currently a junior at UConn in the biomedical engineering pre-med program. I am highly motivated and looking to add to my 2 years of tutoring experience, which came as a part of my National Honor Society volunteer work in High School. During that time, I also tutored many friends and underclassmen on an informal basis.Through these experiences, I learned to help other students understand complex material and make them better prepared to demonstrate their understanding in-class.
When it comes to tutoring I have a strong belief that everyone learns differently and, as a result, it is crucial that I take an adaptive approach to teaching and learning. I strongly believe that most topics and ideas can be broken down into a set of much simpler ideas and concepts that are much easier to explain and eventually connect together.
My primary experience is with students between grades 8 and 12 in 1-on-1 and small group settings, from homework help to exam prep. I specialize in high school math and science subjects. All tutoring is catered individually to the student, task, and course materials.
Academically I have graduated magna cum laude from fair field prep with a 3.8 and taken 16 honors classes and 7 APs in college I am entering my 6th semester with a 3.4 in biomedical engineering with a concentration in bio mechanics and doing a pre-med as well.
