I am currently an accounting student at Fairfield University with a strong focus an mathematics and quantitative business practices. My coursework has required extensive work with algebra, calculus, statistics, and many more mathematical modes. From this, I have gained insight and interest into how and why these concepts connect and work. I strive to help students learn these concepts and apply them academically.
When I work with students, my goal is not simply to get the correct answer, but to help them understand the reasoning behind the process. Many students struggle in math because concepts are introduced quickly and not always explained clearly. I focus on identifying where the confusion begins and then guiding students through the problem step-by-step so they can build confidence and approach similar questions independently.
I work with middle school, high school, and introductory college students in subjects such as algebra, precalculus, calculus, trigonometry, and statistics. I am patient, reliable, and committed to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenging material. My goal is to help students strengthen their understanding of math while developing the problem-solving skills that will help them succeed in future coursework.
