Throughout my academic journey, I discovered a natural enthusiasm for helping others understand complex material. I often spent hours rephrasing concepts and creating new examples to ensure complete comprehension. Witnessing my students, friends, or classmates achieve their “aha!” moments brings me immense satisfaction and reinforces my belief that with the right guidance, anyone can grasp any concept.
I specialize in various areas of mathematics, including Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, SAT Math, and Common Core. Additionally, I offer tutoring in Computer Science(Python, Java, and core programming topics), Biology, and Spanish. I have previously tutored 2 elementary student girls in common core math for 2 years. I also tutor various undergraduates in two classes: Fundamentals of computer science and Introduction to Computer Science Programming in Python.
I tailor each tutoring session to meet the unique needs of my students, whether it involves homework assistance, test preparation, or mastering a new topic. Typically, a session begins by connecting the subject matter to a relevant real-world scenario to spark interest. I then provide clear and concise instruction on the core content, followed by solving several example problems to illustrate key concepts.
