I am Todd, my educational qualifications are as follows, a bachelors and masters degree in criminal justice and 30 additional graduate credits in secondary history education. I have been teaching 7th and 8th grade social studies for 16 years also tutoring both middle school and high school students in social studies including geography, government, criminal justice, and world history. Students that I have tutored needed additional support in class, help in passing AP history courses, adults needing to pass the social studies teaching certification test, and the citizenship exam.
I have a wide variety of teaching skill, knowledge, and experience to tailor any lesson to a prospective student’s needs. My tutoring approach includes using engaging and thought provoking material to excite students curiosity and tie the material to real life. Of course this approach can be adjusted based on the student’s individual needs.
