I am a nursing student at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. My academic background in nursing has given me a strong foundation in science, allowing me to connect textbook concepts to real-world application in a way that resonates with students of all ages.
Since 2023, I have been tutoring students in algebra and science in formal classroom, small group, and one-on-one settings at my college. I have worked with a range of learners, from elementary-aged children discovering science for the first time, to middle and high school students working through Algebra I and II, to college-level students tackling Linear Algebra and Statistics. My approach is always student-centered — I begin by identifying where a student is struggling, then break concepts down into clear, manageable steps before building back up to the bigger picture.
I am experienced working with students who have diverse learning needs, including those with ADHD and learning disabilities, and I adjust my teaching style accordingly to ensure every student feels supported and confident. I believe that patience and encouragement are just as important as subject knowledge, and I take pride in creating a judgment-free space where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal in every session is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them truly understand the material so they can succeed independently.
