I have helped my students learn subject matter and helped increase their confidence and motivation. Families have commended my caring and challenging teaching style. I love working with students of all abilities to help them achieve success and growth.

My credentials include a Master of Arts in Teaching, CT State Certification in Social Studies, Grades 7-12, and a Bachelor's degree in Management. My career has included teaching, running a tutoring center and small business management. I have also studied law, economics, French, Latin and writing, enabling me to help students improve their writing and critical thinking skills. Currently, I tutor students as an executive function coach, standardized exam prep, social studies and writing.

A broad-based education affords me the ability to teach with a universal perspective. I help students relate the subject matter to a broader context. My certification is concentrated in American Studies, including history and political science, as well as world geography.

I look forward to working with students of different abilities, middle school and higher, to build their subject knowledge, study skills and writing, especially those who need extra confidence in the schoolwork.
