Bio

I'm an English teacher looking to help all students struggling with language arts, SAT Prep, and organizational skills. This is my second year teaching Reading/Language Arts at a nearby middle school. I have experience educating students as a classroom teacher and writing interventionist. I have worked with many students who have individual needs, specifically pertaining to ADHD/ADD. As part of my Masters of Arts Program, I took special education classes to better prepare me for differentiating assignments for students with a wide variety of abilities. I also have experience tutoring high school students with ADHD and executive functioning disorder.

During the past few years, I have dealt with a variety of learning disabilities, including dyslexia. I have worked closely with support services to modify and adjust assignments so students with dyslexia can obtain the essential knowledge in a way that makes the content accessible.
