Hi, I'm Joe.I have a Ph.D. In Classics (Latin and Greek) specializing in the History of Mathematics from Brown University (Ivy League), a J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School and have completed the coursework requirements for the Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
While pursuing the PhD at Brown University, I also completed the coursework requirements for the AB in Computer Science, including graduate and doctoral level coursework...

Hi, I'm Joe.I have a Ph.D. In Classics (Latin and Greek) specializing in the History of Mathematics from Brown University (Ivy League), a J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School and have completed the coursework requirements for the Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
While pursuing the PhD at Brown University, I also completed the coursework requirements for the AB in Computer Science, including graduate and doctoral level coursework in database theory (SQL,C++)
I have Masters degrees in both Mathematics and Classics and I received my BA in Classical Greek and Mathematics at Queens College, CUNY, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. I was also a National Merit Scholar.
I have roughly 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience, including having taught the year-long (and one-semester intensive) Introduction to Classical Greek course at Brown University. I have also taught Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana, Greek and Roman Civilization at the University of Rhode Island (Providence campus), and Mathematics in the New York City public high school system.

I have worked as a programmer-analyst at Goldman Sachs in their division of regulatory compliance ( SQL, C++)

I am a licensed attorney in New York State, US District Court, Eastern District of New York; US District Court, Southern District of New York and the US Patent and Trademark Office.
