I began my career as a third-grade classroom teacher using the IB model, then moved into remote instruction, where I've spent the last decade teaching ESL to young learners with Qkids, tutoring K-8 students nationwide with Tutored by Teachers, and most recently working as a Literacy and Writing Tutor with Open Literacy.
My approach is individualized and data-informed: I assess each student's strengths and challenges, set clear goals, and give structured, step-by-step feedback, especially during writing and revision. I've taught learners of nearly every age, from early readers to adults, and I'm comfortable across Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace. Whatever the goal, I tailor sessions to help students make real, measurable progress.
