I studied Art Education and hold a certificate in Art Education from the Department of Education from the State of Connecticut. I love drawing and will teach you about proportions, the face, the body, color theory, concept art, and more. I also teach painting and Art History.

I'm a certified TEFL teacher. I taught in a classroom in Cusco, Peru for over a year. I taught all levels vocabulary, grammar, speaking, pronunciation, and conversation. I also have taught online for over 4 years, where I help students with their English skills, and prepare for exams and interviews.

While living in Peru, I studied Spanish and have become fluent in the language. With my experience teaching English, I understand the methods to teaching Spanish. I can help you with your homework assignments, speaking, or preparing for a test.

As far as proofreading, I've been working as an online writer for 4 years and can look over resumes, essays, emails, or anything else to help you succeed.

Relatable to students

Kimberly D. has been a HUGE asset to my child’s academic future. I had been through many tutors when we finally connected with Ms. Kim. No tutor has been able to get through to my child until now. She’s firm but kind. She’s willing to go over the same thing multiple times until the kid fully understands it. My child happens to be very into Taylor Swift and Ms. Kim found a way to get my child to relate T.Swift to every part in the human body. My child was not doing well in school at all but finished the school year in a way any parent would be proud.As a mom, I screamed, I did the homework, I was at my wit’s end. Ms. Kim has tremendously helped establish the scaffolding needed to build a successful academic future. We wouldn’t have gotten through the school year without her!
