I am a science tutor with a strong foundation in the basic sciences, specializing in biology, chemistry, physics, and math. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology and biotechnology and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in education with the goal of becoming a certified secondary science teacher. My academic background includes extensive coursework in biology and chemistry, as well as a strong foundation in mathematics that supports scientific problem-solving and data analysis. I have also completed coursework in microbiology, environmental science, and laboratory-based sciences, allowing me to support students across middle school, high school, and introductory college-level science courses.

I have experience working with students in one-on-one and small group settings, both in classroom environments and individualized support roles. I have worked with all grade levels in the past, helping them understand course material, complete assignments, and prepare for exams. My tutoring approach is patient and supportive, with an emphasis on building confidence. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and use real-world examples to help students connect abstract concepts to everyday situations.

As a tutor, my goal is to create a structured and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs and learning pace, and I aim to help students develop problem-solving skills they can apply independently. Whether a student needs help strengthening foundational knowledge in science or math, or preparing for assessments, I work to make these subjects feel approachable and achievable.
