Hi, I'm Ryan. I attended the University of Connecticut for my undergraduate in English, the University of New Haven for my Master's in Elementary Education, and am currently enrolled at Southern Connecticut State University for my 6th year degree in Educational Leadership. Throughout my 8 years of teaching I have filled departmentalized roles in writing, reading, mathematics, and science. I have experience working with talented and gifted students, struggling students, students with 504's, and students with IEPs. Throughout my years as a teacher, I have also offered additional help to current or past struggling students during our after-school programs.
One of the most important things to me as a teacher is building confidence in my students. Empowering students to ask questions, engage in the material, and feel comfortable in the classroom is vital to their continued success in academia.
