Margaret taught me the concept of not rushing through my questions. I have a very bad habit of rushing through and not fully reading the questions which messes me up in the long haul. She worked with me step-by-step on numerous questions and did not stop until i understood EVERYTHING I was doing. I gained so much confidence within the two sessions that we had together. She makes sure that you understand the "why" of the problem and that helped me tremendously . She will be my tutor throughout nursing school, I'm very pleased and satisfied with her teaching/tutoring .

Five star angel
As I drowned in fears and self doubt about returning to school as an older student, nursing school introduced me to angels. Burdened with unfamiliar medical terminology and aggressive clinical hours, sleep deprived and stressed from attempting to absorb knowledge at warp speed…I questioned my ability to make it through nursing school. Then…I found my nursing Angel tutor, Meg. She was no ordinary Angel. Although she could skillfully teach pharmacology and nursing skills with the best of them…what made her so special was her ability to teach me. Taking something complex and breaking it down into manageable pieces that worked for my learning style is her gift. Understanding and valuing life experience that I had gained before returning to school helped me relate new nursing information to what I already knew. She explains things in ways I can understand by using examples from her professional experience and personal life. What was once textbook gibberish became interesting information that I actually retain.

Exactly what I needed
I had such a great experience working with Meg. She identified the gaps in my knowledge and explained everything in a way that actually makes sense. She even reviewed some of the things I already knew and helped me to reinforce my understanding, which I found incredibly helpful. She was patent, kind, and guided me through my thinking process so I could come to the correct conclusions myself. I left the session feeling more confident and capable. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to truly understand the material.

My tutoring session with Margaret went really well. We reviewed some test questions, and she even showed me helpful school resources I didn’t know about. She kindly stayed past our scheduled time to make sure we covered everything that would benefit me. I’m looking forward to our next session.

One of the best!!
I’ve tried for years to learn to interpret rhythm strips. Within just a few lessons, all that changed. She breaks it down step by step so you are able to learn quickly and easily. Plus she was very patient and flexible with her times. If you are struggling like I was, she’s the tutor for you. Save yourself the stress and email her to get started!
