I hold a Master of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University. My MSN is specialized in Nursing Education, which has provided me with a strong foundation in both the clinical and academic aspects of nursing. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Education (EdD) at SCSU as well.

I have been a Nurse Educator for over three years, teaching at multiple universities across Connecticut. My teaching experience spans a variety of settings, including nursing clinicals, skills labs, lectures, and simulation environments. I’ve taught students at all levels, from freshmen to seniors, and have also worked with accelerated nursing students or second-degree students. Additionally, I serve as a Simulation Lab Coordinator for nursing and APRN students, where I design and facilitate simulations to enhance students' critical thinking and clinical skills.
I have also tutored adult health nursing students at Southern Connecticut State University, providing personalized support for students navigating complex concepts in nursing. In my role as a Resident Facilitator at Yale New Haven Hospital, I guided newly hired nurses through their residency program during their first year, focusing on their transition from academic learning to clinical practice.
I employ a student-centered approach, tailoring my teaching methods to meet the individual needs of my students.
I have extensive clinical experience from my seven years as a Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital, including on a med-surg unit focused on neuro and trauma ortho patients, as well as my time at the Smilow Cancer Hospital, where I became chemotherapy certified. This hands-on clinical experience informs my teaching approach, allowing me to bring real-world examples and practical insights into my lessons.
