I also obtained a Master's with Distinction in Language Arts/Poetry from the University of Edinburgh as well as a Master's in Teaching English as a Foreign language with an A rating. So, as you can see, I love language! But language, to me, is just a stepping-stone to opening up so many new and fantastic worlds:...
Hi, I'm Brooke! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a BA in Film Production and a minor in Biological Anthropology (Jane Goodall is my hero.) I also obtained a Master's with Distinction in Language Arts/Poetry from the University of Edinburgh as well as a Master's in Teaching English as a Foreign language with an A rating. So, as you can see, I love language! But language, to me, is just a stepping-stone to opening up so many new and fantastic worlds: great jobs, new friends, new hobbies and interests, the ability to travel and the ability to achieve personal goals in an ever-changing world.

Learning only makes us better people and thus, makes the whole world brighter.
I have a passion for writing, reading, literature and poetry, so I enjoy passing that passion on to others, seeing the moment when the English language clicks in another person's mind/soul and they are burning to read their next book or write their next story or poem. I have seen that moment of realization many times over in children who say, "I hate reading," and then, suddenly, one day they realize all of the words make sense and they want to read the next chapter and then the next. I have also worked with many people who want to write, for example, an 85-year-old man who thought his life wasn't worth writing about, but we worked on his memoirs, and he now has a published book. I also know what it's like to move to a new country without knowing more than 5 words of that country's language. I lived for 17 years in Italy and while I slowly learned Italian a whole new world was continually unfolding as I learned the language. Much the same
