During my two years of experience all seventeen of the students I tutored displayed significant academic improvement. When teaching I believe curating a student's interest in the subject matter is integral to developing their understanding. As a student, I have witnessed teachers neglect this facet of learning, and therefore, I aim to inspire curiosity when tutoring. However, regardless of whether I spark your passion, I am confident I can improve your grades.
I received a 760/800 in the math section. I have maintained a strong grasp of the material because I am constantly using math as a computer scientist. I did not have a tutor for the SAT and all my studying was self-guided. Looking back I can see how a tutor would have saved me a lot of time and likely improved my score. As a result, I can provide guidance in ways I wish I had, to save you time and improve your score.
Philosophy is my passion. I was introduced to classical philosophers in high school in the honors course, Moral Reasoning. Since then, on my own time, I have covered nearly every impactful philosophy and religion. Additionally, I took another course in college, History of Philosophy 103, that further enhanced my understanding of classical philosophical theories. I am confident that I can help you with your grades and am excited to engage in a philosophical conversation.
I was introduced to Computer Science in high school, which inspired my interest in computation. However, I really learned how to
