Hi! I'm Steven, a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy. I am a Third-Class Cadet (Sophomore) majoring in Physics. I have not professionally tutored before, although I am looking to provide a supportive and developmental learning environment that allows all my students to succeed. I have been in classes before where I felt like the teacher did not care whether or not I succeeded, and that is what I am looking to avoid. Feel free to bring homework questions, life questions, or questions about the Military Service Academies to me. If you're just looking to learn a little bit more about a topic, I would be happy to prepare a short lesson for you.
As a cadet at the Academy, I have had many opportunities to teach and mentor my fellow cadets in the realm of academics. The schedule at the Academy is especially demanding, requiring that we spend time split between academics, military activities, and physical fitness. This has allowed me to become extremely flexible, so I can work with my students to develop flexible schedules that allow for maximum productivity.
Other than academics, I am also a violinist, competing at the state level throughout high school. I would be more than happy to speak about that, or even teach you a little bit of what I know. I am also very open to questions about the military and service academy life for those of you who are interested in a first-hand account of what it is like. Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have! My door is always open.
