With 26 years of dental experience and 8 years as a Dental Hygiene Instructor and Program Director, I am passionate about helping students succeed. I have taught Head & Neck Anatomy, Dental Materials, Dental and Medical Emergencies, Ethics and Practice Management, Oral Pathology, Pharmacology, Radiology Lab, Anesthesia Lab, and all levels of clinical education.
I have extensive experience teaching both in-person and online, leading classes of up to 27 students while also providing individualized one-on-one instruction. My teaching philosophy is simple: every student learns differently. I take the time to understand each student's learning style, strengths, and challenges, then tailor my instruction to maximize understanding, confidence, and success.
I have also successfully tutored students preparing for the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE). This exam is challenging, but with commitment, personalized guidance, and effective study strategies, you can pass. I customize each tutoring session to fit how you learn best, making complex concepts easier to understand and retain.
