I have been tutoring Mathematics for many years. I tutored privately, at Pueblo Community College, Suffolk Community College in New York and I taught Calculus when I was a high school student. I taught computer science classes at Pueblo Community College.

I have been in the computer field for over 38 years. Previously, I am an instructor at Pueblo Community College, where I taught computer science classes. I also taught adult education. I also taught labs classes for various multi-media applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, and other graphical application. In previous companies, I also did computer hardware repairs, design networks, computer security, and various other functions.

I have taught beginners to advanced classes.

I am very familiar with many software package such as Microsoft Office, WordPerfect suite, Macromedia Studio (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash), FrontPage, HTML, Javascript, FoxPro, Paradox, dBase, Oracle and various programming languages such as C, C++, Fortran, Pascal, Visual Basic.

I have also tutored mathematical subjects: Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, and others.

I have worked in real-time simulation, graphics, computer animation, data reduction, engineering applications, natural language interface, wind tunnel analysis, and automated medical analysis system.

I enjoy teaching and I look forward to helping other advance their knowledge on many different subjects.

I tutored many high school students in subject from algebra to calculus. I studied to be a theoretical mathematician and have a great deal of knowledge with mathematics and computers. In several of my jobs, I was a math modeling in several computer simulation projects. In high school and college, I was a straight A student in almost all of my classes including all of the math classes I took.

I been working with computer since the days when there was only main frames. I worked with inputting information using paper tape, punch cards, and with keyboards when they were once available. I was there when PC where kits you built. There was no technical support, so you learned how to fix any and all problems. I have been working with computers for over 35 years and I am very familiar with hardware and software. I worked with 100s of software packages and with almost every different type of hardware that came into existence.

I have been using Word since the 1990s. I used Word for many years at many of the companies I had worked at and I am very familiar with it. I also taught Word when I was reaching at Pueblo Community College.

I programmed in Pascal for 6 years for simulators when I was working at defense companies.

I been taking photographs since I was 7 years old. I started with a Kodak Brownie Starmite, moved into 35mm SLR cameras and then when digital cameras came out, I ventured into them. I have tutored digital photography at Pueblo Community College and I run several Flickr groups devoted to digital photography. I have sold some photographs and I an familiar with many of the photography software programs.

Highly recommend. Can't say enough nice things about James!!

I wasn't sure where to begin on a project and James came to the rescue. He was patient and helped me understand a problem regarding simulation. He was well prepared and guided me in the thought process and how to utilize Excel to figure out the solution. I really liked James' teaching style. He was also very helpful and knowledgeable about a wide variety of subjects. I plan on keeping in touch with James for other tutoring needs.
