Hello! I’m Benjamin, a certified educator with over 10 years of experience working with children from early childhood through middle school. I hold a Bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education from Grand Canyon University and an Associate's in Early Childhood Education. My teaching license (#17497373) is current, and I’m also certified in CPR, First Aid, CPI, and SIDS.

I specialize in reading, writing (ELA), elementary math and science, and special education support, including IEPs, behavioral coaching, and de-escalation. As an Affective Needs/ELA teacher at Panorama Middle School, I led Humanities and ELA lessons, wrote and monitored IEPs, supported students with emotional and behavioral needs, and supervised paraprofessionals. I’ve also worked as a lead teacher in daycare, a substitute across subjects, and a volunteer in special needs and elementary classrooms.

My teaching method is student-centered and strategy-driven. I use the 5 Point Strategy, data-informed instruction, and tailored behavior management techniques to help students feel empowered and focused. Whether your child needs help reading, building confidence, or managing frustration, I create a calm, structured, and encouraging environment for growth.
