Students are currently enrolled as music majors at the University of Colorado, University of Northern Colorado, and Colorado State University.
I teach lessons on all brass instruments for all musical styles and have over 35 years of experience as a private teacher. In addition, I taught 5th and 6th grade band in the highly rated Los Altos Schools from 1996-2004, one of California's top districts.
In addition to my work as an educator I am active as a professional having worked with all major arts organizations in Colorado including Colorado Ballet, Colorado Symphony, Opera Colorado, and Central City Opera. From 1986-2004 I was in the San Francisco Bay area, and during this time I held numerous positions including 18 seasons as Principal Trumpet in California Symphony and was tenured as 2nd Trumpet in San Jose Symphony. As well, I worked extensively with San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco including numerous tours and recordings and performed Phantom of the Opera at San Francisco's Curran Theatre from 1994-1998.
