I am very excited for the opportunity to tutor you in math/physics--two subjects I've been passionate about from a very young age. I find happiness in witnessing my students grow and become more comfortable with these subjects, especially as they begin to connect these concepts to their lives. Math and physics have so many real-world applications. As an electrical engineer, I use my knowledge daily to help people solve problems and provide solutions. I approach tutoring similarly to my work: with a structured, step-by-step approach, making sure no problem goes unsolved.
I have worked with a wide range of subjects, students, and environments in my five years of professional tutoring. In working with first graders to college students over math subjects from basic addition/subtraction to Calculus II and physics subjects from simple kinematics to electricity and magnetism, I am comfortable adapting my teaching style to suit your strengths and learning style. My professional experience began at a Mathnasium tutoring center during high school, where I attended approved training courses covering engaging and effective teaching methods. I continued my endeavors as a peer tutor for the college I attended--Hastings College. I have continued to tutor high school students one-on-one after I graduated in 2023 as a double major in physics and math. Whether it's at a coffee shop, library, or online, I look forward to tutoring you and connecting. Thank you for considering me as a tutor.
