I hold an Honors Bachelor of Science in Physics and am currently pursuing a PhD in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) Physics. My experimental background in optics and condensed matter has provided me with a strong foundation in core areas of physics, including analytical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and optics.

I have over four years of tutoring experience, working primarily with undergraduate students. My teaching has focused on subjects ranging from introductory physics to more advanced upper-division topics. In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I have also taught a course on mathematics for non-calculus-based physics, further strengthening my ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible way.

My teaching approach emphasizes developing a deep conceptual understanding before moving into problem-solving. I typically structure sessions in three stages: first, I introduce and explain the underlying physical principles; second, I work through example problems collaboratively with the student; and finally, I guide the student through solving problems independently to reinforce their understanding and build confidence.

Approved Subjects

Physics

Physics

I earned an honors degree in Physics and currently conduct research in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) physics at one of the top PhD programs in the country. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience working with students across a wide range of levels—from introductory physics to advanced upper-division courses. I help students improve their performance in physics courses by strengthening both conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills, with a focus on homework, quizzes, and exams. My approach breaks down difficult topics into clear, intuitive steps and then builds the ability to solve problems independently. This helps students become more confident and consistently perform better in their coursework.
Quantum Physics

Quantum Physics

I have 5 years of research experience in condensed matter and atomic physics, along with extensive training in quantum mechanics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I specialize in helping students understand core quantum concepts such as wave functions, operators, and the postulates of quantum mechanics, and—more importantly—how to apply them to solve problems. I’m particularly comfortable guiding students through topics like Dirac notation, measurement theory, time evolution, and common problem-solving techniques used in coursework. I’ve spent several years tutoring quantum mechanics and have also worked as a teaching assistant, where I led small group sessions and helped students build both conceptual understanding and mathematical confidence. My goal is to make abstract quantum ideas feel intuitive while ensuring you can successfully work through assignments and exams.
