I hold an Honors Bachelor of Science in Physics and am currently pursuing a PhD in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) Physics. My experimental background in optics and condensed matter has provided me with a strong foundation in core areas of physics, including analytical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and optics.
I have over four years of tutoring experience, working primarily with undergraduate students. My teaching has focused on subjects ranging from introductory physics to more advanced upper-division topics. In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I have also taught a course on mathematics for non-calculus-based physics, further strengthening my ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible way.
My teaching approach emphasizes developing a deep conceptual understanding before moving into problem-solving. I typically structure sessions in three stages: first, I introduce and explain the underlying physical principles; second, I work through example problems collaboratively with the student; and finally, I guide the student through solving problems independently to reinforce their understanding and build confidence.
