I’m an Engineer and Math Educator with over 10 years of tutoring experience and 15+ years as a Software Engineer. I hold an MS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Applied Mathematics, and I support middle school through college students, as well as adult learners pursuing professional degrees, in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, Business Calculus, and foundational math skills.
My approach is simple: make math make sense. I break down challenging concepts into clear, approachable steps and use visual models, practical examples, and guided reasoning to help students understand the “why,” not just the “how.”
As a mom with school-aged kids, I understand the emotional side of learning. I create a patient, supportive environment where mistakes are part of the process, not something to fear. Watching a student go from confusion to “Oh! I get it now!” is the best part of what I do. My goal is to help every learner feel capable, confident, and empowered in math.
