I graduated in 2021 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology and a B.S. in Chemistry with a focus on Chemical Physics and with minors in Mathematics and Physics from Marian University, achieved simultaneously through a dual degree program. I went to Marian on a combined academic and athletic (cycling) scholarship and became tied for the most decorated collegiate cyclist in history, winning 12 national titles. One thing that made this success possible was entering college with 35 credits already awarded from the AP classes and tests that I took in high school.

None-the-less, balancing such a rigorous academic program with similarly ambitious athletics was not easy. I was able to achieve a lot both academically and athletically through effective study and training habits.. In fact, I was so successful academically that I spent much of my free time helping my peers study for our shared courses. Once, I remember studying with a group of students I didn't know and upon meeting them, one responded, "No way! You're THE Cade?" and proceeded to pull out a photocopied version of my notes from Fluid Mechanics that I had taken 3 years earlier and shared with some younger friends that I tutored through the course. It turned out that my notes had become a popular study resource for the class and reached the hands of many.

My first teaching experience outside of my own classes came while I was in high school and I volunteered at my former elementary school for an after school math games club. During this time, I also led study groups with my high school classmates. I continued to lead study groups into college and I became a tutor at Marian for calculus and physics classes. Later, I started tutoring on my own for some of the classes that I had taken at Purdue. Most of this tutoring was in small study groups or one on one. A recurring compliment that I have received is that I am able to adapt information to different learning styles in an easily comprehendible manner.
