My qualifications to tutor Anatomy and Physiology are grounded in both rigorous academic training and real world clinical experience. I hold a nursing degree and am currently applying to medical schools, where advanced coursework in human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology is central to my education. In addition to my formal degrees, I have completed certifications directly tied to patient care and clinical practice, which have deepened my understanding of how the human body functions beyond what a textbook alone can provide.

I have tutored college-aged students, primarily those in pre-nursing and pre-med programs, on a one-on-one or group basis. My approach combines step-by-step conceptual breakdowns with clinical real-world examples that help students understand not just what to memorize, but why the material matters. I adapt my teaching style to each student, moving carefully through foundational concepts when needed and shifting to focused exam preparation when time is short. I find that connecting A&P to actual patient care scenarios makes the material significantly more memorable and engaging for students who are working toward healthcare careers.

Beyond formal tutoring, I have supported peers and classmates throughout my nursing and medical school training, explaining complex systems such as cardiovascular function, neurological pathways, and musculoskeletal anatomy in informal study group settings. This experience has sharpened my ability to identify where students commonly struggle and address those gaps efficiently. I am committed to helping every student I work with build genuine confidence and competence in Anatomy and Physiology.

Nursing

I am a nurse with extensive coursework in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and patient care and work in a specialty PICU. In addition to my academic training, I have hands-on healthcare experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where I have developed strong clinical and communication skills while caring for patients in a variety of settings. I enjoy helping students understand complex nursing concepts by breaking them down into practical, real-world examples. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their critical thinking skills, and succeed in their nursing education.
