I’m a certified English and Theater teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience working with students of all ages, primarily at the middle school, high school, and college-prep levels. I hold a B.A. in English from the University of Montana, a Master’s in Bilingual Education from Universidad de Alcalá (Spain), and a Master’s in Curriculum and Design from the University of Montana. I am also licensed to teach English and Theater in the state of Colorado and am fluent in Spanish.

My teaching background includes 3 years as a Teaching Assistant in Spain, working with students learning English as a second language, 2 years teaching ESL online, supporting learners of varying proficiency levels, 5 years teaching Theater and Video Production at Longmont High School
I’ve worked with students ranging from elementary age through adults, though my primary experience is with middle school, high school, and college-bound students. I specialize in English, writing, reading comprehension, ESL support, academic confidence-building, and communication skills.

My teaching style is supportive, student-centered, and skills-focused. I believe learning works best when students feel heard, encouraged, and actively involved in the process. I focus on clear explanations and real-world context, building confidence and independence, mastery of skills rather than rote memorization, and thoughtful feedback and collaboration.
