Bio

I am a Master’s graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in both ecology and evolutionary biology, as well as world history. I tutored students while in college and have experience as a teacher’s assistant for middle and high school-aged students. I specialize in science, English, history, geometry and test prep.

Tutoring lessons should be both enjoyable and efficient, allowing students to receive aid in a subject while also discovering the answers themselves, thereby promoting self-confidence....

I have played piano since I was 9 years old and can read music. I have my own keyboard at home and feel comfortable tutoring beginning musicians to read music and play at a concert level. I am classically and professionally trained.

I taught group and private swim lessons within the YMCA for two years and was a lifeguard for about four to five years. While my certs are currently expired, I was trained in CPR, first aid, title 22/first responder and wsi (water safety instructor). I taught everyone from young children to adults.
