I guide my students through the material being studied in a way that they can understand it, not just memorize it for a test. My goal is to help the student gain confidence in working problems and understanding concepts. I use real-world examples and applications to help the student understand how to use the information being presented. If you see how the material you are learning is applied, then you are more motivated to learn about and master it.

I have a MS degree in Cell and Molecular Biology as well as extensive training at the doctorate level in Biochemistry. Over the years, I have worked in biomedical research where I used this knowledge and lab training to assist in cancer research and other research studies. In addition, I have teaching experience in this subject at the college level.

I have earned both a BS degree in Biology and a MS in Cell & Molecular Biology. In addition, I have completed advanced coursework in this field at the doctorate level. Over the years , I have taught Biology classes at both the high school and college level. I currently tutor Biology to students across the US via Wyzant.

I hold two degrees in Chemistry, BS and MS. In addition, I have many years of teaching and tutoring experience, plus laboratory and research work experience. Chemistry requires both an understanding of basic chemical concepts along with learning problem-solving skills. I work hard to help students master both as we study this challenging subject.

Amazing Chemistry Tutor!!! Highly Recommended!!!

When I started my Chemistry course, I found the lectures to be very confusing and difficult to understand. I knew I needed extra help if I wanted to pass the course. I found Donna on WyzAnt and started tutoring right away. Donna helped me build a strong foundation for chemistry. She is very knowledgeable about the subject and can explain it very well. With Donna's help, I was able to master the subject and even made an A in the class! I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs help in chemistry!

Donna helped my high school sophomore daughter all year with the advanced chemistry class. They met about 2 to 3 times a month remotely for the entire year.
