With a solid academic and professional background in design and education, I bring a unique combination of expertise to tutoring. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Marketing, as well as a Master of Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). My education has equipped me with a strong foundation in both the conceptual and technical aspects of visual communication, including branding, typography, color theory, layout design, and user interface principles. In addition to my formal education, I have years of hands-on experience using industry-standard tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma, which I now want to teach others how to use effectively and creatively.

My teaching experience began in São Paulo, Brazil, where I taught English at one of the city's top schools. I worked with students ranging from teenagers to adults in both classroom and one-on-one settings, adapting my teaching methods to suit various learning styles and age groups. I emphasize clarity, engagement, and the practical application of knowledge principles in design instruction. Whether teaching language or design, my approach is student-centered and goal-oriented, breaking complex topics into digestible, motivating steps that help learners to build confidence and real-world skills.

I am excited to tutor students interested in learning visual tools and graphic design fundamentals. I integrate theory, design thinking, and industry insights to help students develop a well-rounded creative practice. From understanding the psychology of color to mastering vector illustration, I aim to guide learners through the complete journey of becoming confident and thoughtful designers.
