I received my bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Colorado Boulder, and I’ve completed graduate-level coursework in history and economics through Stanford University and the MITx DEDP program. My academic work spans history, economics, data analysis, and the quantitative foundations of the social sciences, giving me a wide range of tools to help students understand both introductory and advanced material.

I have experience tutoring students one-on-one in history, writing, economics, and math. I work with elementary, high school, and college students and have helped them strengthen their essay-writing skills, develop clear arguments, and analyze primary sources—skills that are essential for success in U.S. and European history. I’ve also helped students prepare for exams, improve study habits, and gain confidence in subjects that once felt overwhelming.

My tutoring style is patient, structured, and centered on what each student needs most. I slow the material down so it is fully understood. I focus on clarity of explanation and helping students build real understanding rather than memorizing facts. Whether a student needs help with AP U.S. History, college-level history courses, essay writing, or general academic support, I tailor each session to meet their individual goals and learning style.
