With a robust academic background and a genuine passion for teaching, I’m excited to offer tutoring services for K-12 students across a range of subjects. I hold a BA in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Neuroscience from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Cell Biology, Stem Cells, and Development. My educational journey not only highlights my dedication but also equips me with a deep understanding of complex concepts, which I am eager to share with students.

My experience in teaching and tutoring spans several years and includes a variety of settings. During my undergraduate studies, I completed two teaching courses specifically designed for K-12 students, which provided hands-on classroom experience. As a teaching assistant in graduate school, I led lectures and supported undergraduate students, honing my ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Additionally, I have accumulated over 300 hours of tutoring experience with K-12 students from refugee families, focusing on making learning engaging and tailored to individual needs.

I believe in creating a supportive and empowering learning environment. I prioritize understanding each student’s unique goals and challenges, and I encourage them to take an active role in their learning process. Whether it’s helping with homework across various subjects or offering guidance in coding with Python or R, I am dedicated to making learning a positive and enriching experience. My approach is centered on fostering confidence and independence in students, making me a valuable resource for their academic journey.
