Pann is an extraordinary teacher. From day one she planned interesting and engaging classes while teaching us about the Chinese culture. She always has some songs, poems and activities ready that will make learning Chinese fun. Every time we start a new topic, she has a lot of examples and visuals that will help you memorize Chinese characters and their meaning. She is also very precise and helped us a lot to ensure the use of the correct tones. I've studied basic Chinese in Singapore but forgot everything in several weeks. Now I'm able to retain more words, phrases and I'm getting ready for my HSK1. I super recommend these classes for kids, adults and anyone who really want to have someone who can adjust to your learning pace.

What I learned in first lesson.
Help me start off. Get me started with resources (books, etc.). We do introductory work and first lessons. We talk about right and left brain areas involved in Mandarin. Very patient with older student. Good sense of humor. Learn a good deal of culture and Hx of language. Very informative. We talk about pace and practice. She is nice and gentle. We approach grammar and why it is important to start simply and build on that. Makes good sense.

Yunn is explicit in her teaching approach, makes the lesson fun for my 7 year old neice and incorporates relevance to her teaching style yo connect better with Audrina.
