Hello ~ My name is Erik! I have spent the last 15+ years teaching English to all ages of people from Elementary students to Adults. For most of that time, I lived and studied in South Korea where I earned my Master's degree in Korean religious history.

My core philosophy of teaching begins with taking the time to thoroughly understand the student's interests, needs, and goals then developing tailored lessons based on their interests to meet those needs and help the student obtain their goals. Multiple years of experience teaching groups of students and tutoring one-to-one has given me ample patience and discipline. My students leave a session with me invigorated and confident in their ability to learn. My ultimate goal is to help people unlock their potential as self-driven and confident lifelong learners.
I have over 15 years of experience teaching all ages and all levels in English reading, writing, conversation, and listening for both social and academic purposes.
