I am a tutor with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and over two years of experience helping more than 100 students succeed in challenging math and science courses. I specialize in Physics I & II and Calculus I & II, working with high school and college students to build both understanding and confidence. Ninety-eight percent of my students have passed their class with an A or B.
My teaching style focuses on learning through practice problems. I believe students learn best by actively applying concepts, so our sessions are highly interactive and problem-driven. I guide students step by step, explain the reasoning behind each approach, and help students recognize patterns they can reuse on homework and exams. I also focus on breaking down complex problems into manageable steps and addressing common mistakes.
