What I can say, with emphasis, is that Dan is amazing. He minimizes playing his instrument out of concern that students will strive to imitate him. Instead, he supports his students in experimentation, asks questions and engages us in the creative process. Bravo! Dan teaches way more than how to read notes. He teaches us to be musicians. ❤️

DAN is great
I was an accomplished clarinet. I hadn’t played in years. I’m 82 years old. Dan is then reviewing the basics with me. How to put my mouth on the mouth piece. Had to cover all of the keys. It’s very basic stuff. But what I needed to begin playing. He’s a very patient teacher. He’s very knowledgeable. He has a wonderful personality. Highly recommended.

Great guy and great teacher
This was my first lesson with Dan. He is patient, talented and thoughtful. Two thumbs up. Also I am an adult learner and he was great with me. I recommend him to anyone.

Learning new things
Dan is a great tutor. I am an adult student who had taken several years of clarinet lessons in my youth and have decided to revisit the instrument. Dan is helping me get back on track without having to start at ground zero. He has taught me new techniques that will be very useful as I advance in my lessons. Looking forward to progressing.
