As the child of two educators, I grew up playing school instead of ninjas or house. Education has always been the forefront of my career path. As the child of two educators, I grew up playing school instead of ninjas or house. Education has always been the forefront of my career path. In high school, I completed a variety of Advanced Placement (AP) courses that allowed me to test out of many undergraduate college credits. If you have the chance to take any AP classes, I would highly recommend it. My college credit load was greatly lightened with this extra effort in high school. Although my major and concentration have always been founded in Nursing, a great deal of my past tutoring experience comes from teaching English and honing student's writing capabilities. I continue to write freelance myself and love learning vocabulary as a pastime. Having graduated with a MSN, I have a strong penchant for APA formatting. Yeah nerds!

The dreaded NCLEX! As a survivor of this rigorous exam, I know how to navigate the pitfalls of the nursing licensure examination and am capable of assisting students on their journey to reaching that hard-won title of Registered Nurse. The NCLEX's computer adaptive testing (CAT) style is one that often feels difficult to master, but with diligent conditioning and the critical thinking you have gained from your nursing program, it's a hurdle you can master.

As a lifelong learner, I am passionate about teaching a
