I am a passionate Chemist trained in both synthetic organic and polymer chemistry. Outside of research, I love teaching and tutoring (generally math and science, but mostly chemistry)! I have a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Appalachian State University (ASU) and a M.Sc. in Chemistry from Colorado State University (CSU).

Getting a good grade is an admirable goal and should be pursued! However, my focus is to increase my students fundamental understanding and appreciation for Organic Chemistry. I meet my students where they're at and get them to a point where because they have a robust fundamental understanding (and hopefully by then, a joy for the synthetic puzzles of O Chem), the good grades follow!
